A Smoochy Celebration

No traditional Christmas celebration is complete without smooching under the mistletoe, and it's obvious that these cute mice agree. With a bit of conspiracy, there will be smooches all around! Featuring the House Mouse Designs® Mistletoe Mice, stamped in black Memento ink, and colored with Copic Sketch Markers, the focal point could almost steal the show on this card, but the background is a pretty-in-pink accompaniment. The panel of Bazzill Basics cardstock was placed inside the Dreamweaver Christmas Borders Embossing Folder, and run through my embossing machine. A pink VersaColor inkpad was swiped over the surface to highlight the designs. A bit of lace, a couple of blue crystals, tinsel trim, and a bow complete the cute factor.

Dreamweaver Thursday: Falling in Love with Fall

I really do firmly believe that Stampendous and Dreamweaver were a match made in heaven. You might even say that the two product lines meld together beautifully. How else could you take the Dreamweaver die cut Treeline design, and have this kind of shimmer and shine? It's so simple to do...just coat the die cut design with VersaMark ink by Tsukineko®, pour on several colors of Fran•tagĂ© Embossing Enamels, and heat to melt. Since we have a fall challenge going on this week on the Stampendous Blog, I chose to go with colors that suit the season...Aged Spice, Aged Copper, Aged Hunter, Aged Teal, and the Seasonings blend. The result is so gorgeous, that you really need nothing more than popping it up over yummy colors of cardstock from Bazzill Basics® and Core'dinations®. I love the sentiment that I chose to add to my card, the Cling Friendship Tree, and a few sprinkles more of the enamels, heated from underneath, were the perfect finish.
