Soleil Summer Card

I thought that I'd post another from my collection of "oldies". This card is perfect for summer, or anytime you want to send a sunny thought. I stamped the Stampendous "Soleil points" on a white panel with blue ink, and again with black ink. This panel was watercolored and cut out, adhered dimensionally over the previous panel and all attached to a gorgeous Worldwin Colormates cardstock card. The "Dotted Frame" in the background is no longer available from Stampendous, but if you are really fortunate, you might find it at your local stamp store or on one of the auction sites. Hope you have a fabulous, sunny day!

Got Sand?

After having several over 100 days in a row, I am officially calling it summer. I did this card a couple of years ago for Stampendous, but it still works. Could make a great beach party invite or just a summertime thinking-of-you card. I simply stamped the image on a white panel, used an alphabet set for the message, and watercolored the design. Adhering the panel to a navy blue card adds the right pop.
Hope all of you have a sunny, happy, creative summer!
