This Shapes Up to Be a Sweet Stampendous Spring!

Have you checked out the new challenge with the Stampendous team this month!  Each Saturday in March, we'll be challenging ourselves (and you!) to make a shaped card or project - something other than the traditional square or rectangular card. Doesn't that sound like fun?

I created a fun Easter egg-shaped card this week using the Dreamweaver Stencils' Large Egg stencil as my template to trace the shape onto this gorgeous American Crafts' Garden Cage paper. The actual card was made to mat the egg shape with a scalloped edge. I stamped the Stampendous Cling Spring Greeting sentiment with Black StazOn ink due to the glossy sections on the patterned paper. The Cling Feather Bonnet Baby was stamped twice on white cardstock, colored with Copics, cut out, and the bonnet was layered. Multi Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter was added to the chick before popping up the image on the card. I used a few drops of Glossy Accents to adhere the sprinkling of Sage Color Fragments and Fresh Green Crushed Glass Glitter. The fluffy pink ribbon from Creative Impressions was the "icing on the cake" for this sweet card.

Here is a list of the Stampendous team members playing along today:

We want YOU to play along with us!  Just add your direct link to your shaped card or project to the linky tool below my signature (or on the Stampendous blog) no later than April 5, 2012 at 11:00 PM EST.  You do not have to use Stampendous products to play along, but we sure love it when you do!  And as an extra incentive for playing, one lucky person (drawn at random from all the entries) will receive this gorgeous Cling Jumbo Hollyhock Stamp Set:

Due to shipping restrictions, the winner must have a US address.  We hope you get a chance to play along with us - happy crafting!
