Cyndi designed this week's sketch and you can see her darling version on her blog,
The Scrappy Chick. (She gives you a sneak peek at one of Stampendous' fabulous new stamps being introduced this week at CHA in Chicago.) My version uses the Poppy Scene which I colored with Copic markers. I actually colored this in my Copic Certification class a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't have been able to do it at home yet, as I'm waiting for my Copic order to arrive. Feel like a kid waiting for Christmas! The sentiment comes from the Loopy Blooms clear set, and I am finding it particularly appropriate as we just found out that my mother-in-law has stage 4 lung cancer. That kind of news makes you realize just how precious life is. Enjoy each and every day in a creative way!
