Dreamweaver Bless You Butterfly Card

It's Tuesday, almost Wednesday, which is also known as Hump Day! Are you dreaming of the weekend? You can tell that I am! Perfect time for a Dreamweaver Stencils card! This is one from the new batch sent to Dreamweaver Stencils for them to take to CHA summer in Chicago and maybe for an upcoming catalog? Hmmm....just have to wait and see! I used three great stencils for this card and the Matte Black embossing paste. I brushed three colors of the Metallic F/X over the dried paste, (leaving the stencil in place to mask off the surrounding areas), on the background panel and the butterfly. The butterfly was stenciled on acetate and mounted with bent wings over the top of a cutout of the butterfly to highlight it. I love the metallic copper cardstock with the deep lavender cardstock. It photographs appearing a little orange, but you can catch more of the copper sheen in the close up picture at the bottom. I hope your Wednesday brings you plenty of dreaming and creating!

Wow. This is simply beautiful...very elegant and funky at the same time :)
Cool!! I wouldn't have thought the paste would dry on acetate that well. This is just gorgeous!
