I love to use black and red and white together. One of my all time favorite color combos. This card was another created for Dreamweaver Stencils that was sent in hopes of being part of the new design team (which I am, now!) Very simple in technique and visual interest. I left off a sentiment because it is one of those cards with great versatility that is good to have on hand for those "OMG! I almost forgot!" moments that we all have. I ran the black panel through my Big Shot with the "Bird & Branches" stencil which embossed beautifully as usual. I ran the white panel through as well, but afterwards, I placed the stencil over the surface, used removable tape to mask off the red bird, and stenciled black ink on the rest. A tiny smear of black ink was brushed across the red bird. At the time, I freaked out, but the more that I looked at it, the more I liked it! Sometimes mistakes can become happy accidents. Everything in life can become that way if you let it! Hope you have a creative happy accident as well!
