Here's what I've created for today:
I have to admit...I cheated a bit on today's post. I created this card a couple of years ago for a sketch challenge, but it was always on of my favorites...so here it is again! This is a fun and easy card to create in multiples. Here's how I made it:
1) Machine emboss the Stripes stencil on the light blue card.
2) Angle cut a patterned cardstock and adhere.
3) Ink the Poinsettia stencil with a red ink slightly darker than the cardstock panel, and machine emboss.
4) Paste-emboss Happy Holidays on red panel with White Embossing Paste. Let dry. Adhere to card.
6) Tie striped twine through each "button" and make bows. Adhere to card.
7) Embellish poinsettia with crystals.
So simple that it's no wonder I'm posting this card again!
Now's the time for you to leave a comment and move on to the next designer for today:

A lovely modern card.
I think we will let you off for cheating for two reasons. 1 It is a lovely card and worth re-sharing. 2 you have worked so hard all week on this you deserve a break! Thank you for being wonderful!
So glad you showed us this card Pam! First the colors are so fun for the holidays and I love the monochromatic inking of the poinsettia. There's no end to the use of the plaid stencil too! I will probably need to case this card just so you know...
Very simple but elegant, a lovely card, no wonder you're revisiting it.
This stencil is awesome and who cares how long ago you made it. IT IS a CLASSIC!!! Why don't have the poinsettia stencil. I must get it!!!
Thank you for inspiring me todaY!
Love this card! Great texture with the striped background. Fun happy colors, too! Love it! Now I want a piece of candy! Hmmm...wonder why!?
Fun card...love the candy cane touch!

Such a lovely card!!
This is definitely a card worth revisiting! Almost missed that striped background, but it adds so much to the card, love those "buttons"too!
So pretty! Love all the different ways you used the stencils! The subtle poinsettia is my favorite part I think.
Love that bling in the center of the poinsettia - and I'd never guess you were cheating ;)
