Lizzie Anne Designs New March Singles Releases!

It's new release day at Lizzie Anne Designs, and today features two Simply Singles stamps..."Hope", from a quote by Emily Dickenson, and "Ageless", a super fun poke at birthdays! My first card is a little odd for me. A mix of paper backgrounds that ordinarily I wouldn't put together, but I liked it. The border across the center of the card has the medallion from the "Bonjour" set stamped across it. The feature Single is stamped on a Nestie label and matted with another to coordinate with the background papers. Attached with a jute twine bow and the additions of a feather (for obvious reasons) and the flower (just 'cuz), proves once again, that the sentiment can indeed be the focal point of the card...even when the background is busy.

Daisy D's paper

EK Edger punch, Nestabilities Labels Four die

For this card, I went with happier colors in my favorite combo of blue and green. I inked last month's Single, "Number block" with blue and green inks and stamped repeatedly over a Nestie cut scalloped circle. I stamped the Number Block again on the small white panel before stamping this month's new Single, "Ageless". The background is a fun argyle print that I had in my stash, as well as the flowered ribbon which is attached to the sentiment panel with a teeny tiny brad.

your own pair...and other fun stuff to go with!

Cuteness! I paired the Ageless single with the Number Block, too - great minds think alike! :)

I love that Emily Dickenson poem...several years ago I made a little book with that in it. LOVE it. Thanks for the inspiration Pam.

I'm loving both of your cards, Pam!! Your first card is so pretty with those papers, and your delicate feather!! I love the green and blue colors on your second card, and your Number Block works perfectly with that sentiment too!!
