Lizzie Anne Designs New Singles Release!

Wow! Can you believe that it's December 1st already? Being the first of the month, of course that means a new singles release from Lizzie Anne Designs. The two featured this month are House  and Home Sweet Home, both of which I have used on this card. I colored the house to match the stripes in my print paper. I did a background of the pine tree from the December Mix set, "Warmest Thoughts". Since I had stamped and embossed both image and sentiment in white, I wanted the sentiment to stand out a bit more, so I went over the embossed words with a beige marker as shown in the close up photo. These new singles would be perfect for a housewarming card with maybe a Home Depot gift card included, or a new address announcement. It would also be easy enough to use the house stamp for a Christmas card by adding glittery icicles off the eaves, a wreath on the door, snow piled in front and on the tree, and dots of snowflakes falling. Hmmm...think I need to try that next. If it turns out as cute as I think that it will, I'll post it to show you. Meanwhile, check out what the rest of the Lizzie Anne Design Team has created with these new images, and hop over to the Lizzie Anne blog as well. Happy stamping!
