STMC35-The Warm Fuzzies

This week the Stampendous Design Team are feeling the warm fuzzies...in Fun Flock, that is. This was our challenge for the Stampendous Saturday Sketch Challenges, given to us by Rachel this week. Be sure to hop over her blog to see the darling holiday card that she did in non-traditional colors. Then hop on over the rest of the team's blogs as listed at right, and the Stampendous Impressions blog as well. Lots of great inspiration to help you play along. Post your own creation online with the link for Stampendous. Be sure to use the STMC35 code for the week. You could win some cool prizes! You've got to love that! For my version, I used the "Snowman Flurry" Perfectly Clear set. I stamped flakes in blue over white cardstock before covering it with Peel N' Stick, and then with a mixure of Cotton Ball Fun Flock and Multi Crystal Glitter. The other panel was covered in Eyeshadow Blue Fun Flock. Both panels were cut to mimic snowy hills. I covered another panel of white cardstock with Peel N Stick and white flock before stamping the image onto it. (Tip: because of the fuzzy coating, you need to really press the stamp into the surface, even jiggling it slightly.) I cut the head and body portions out and popped them up on the card. Stamped the image again on print paper, to create the scarf and hat. Shading and coloring was done with Decorator Chalks from Craf-T Products. Class A' Peel Dot Sparklers and Iridescent Clear Jumbo Snowflakes were added for more sparkle and shine. Doesn't the final product give you the warm fuzzies?
