In a flurry of a hurry? This month the Dream Team are all about the Quick and Cute...whether that be cards, gifts, wrapping, or tags...we have sleigh-loads of ideas! Play along by posting your creations using the Inlinkz tool on the Dream It Up! blog, for a chance to win the stencil of your choice, and a possible bonus stencil for using Dreamweaver products in your Quick and Cute project! Here's what fun I've been up to this week:
Yes, there are several layers to this card, but since most are die cuts, it is quite simple to cut a bunch, and arrange an assembly line to create in multiples! The base card is Bazzill Basics Dotted Swiss cardstock. On top of this layer is a white-matted square of patterned paper. Next a white and blue set of die cut Dreamweaver Nested Frames, with the blue one having a die cut Ornament removed from the center, to be substituted by a die cut ornament using the patterned paper. The sentiment is simply die cut glitter paper using the Dreamweaver Dual Alphabet, edged a bit with a blue marker. The finishing touches are a rhinestone and a yummy May Arts ribbon knot. Get the kids involved with this one! They're great "cheap labor" for assembly line holiday cards, just pay them in sugar cookies and gingerbread people! Don't forget to take pictures to capture the great holiday memories.
I'd love to receive a comment from you before you head on to the rest of the "A" team:
