Stampendous Surfer and Sandcastle Kiddos • Dreamweaver Hot Air Balloon, Ice Cream Cones, Summer, Mosaic Swirls, Bird Words, and Sandcastle stencils |
Who doesn't love camping at the lake? A long day of fishing, hiking, swimming, followed by a cool evening listening to crickets and birds, and the sound of the kids who refuse to fall asleep. That was my inspiration for today's card.
Featuring the new Dreamweaver Cattails Scene, I applied several bands of Memento inks over white cardstock. Then I applied Onyx Versafine ink to the back of the stencil and placed it on top. I rubbed over the back with a paper towel to transfer the ink. I love that it wasn't solid black, but broken up a bit.
I stamped the Stampendous Cling Lone Bird in the bottom corner of both the colorful panel and the actual card. Before popping up the main panel on the card, I applied some glue marker to the cattails, the sun, and the bird and sprinkled with Stampendous Micro Glitter in colors to match the Memento inks.
The sentiment from the Bird Words stencil was paste-embossed with Regular Paste and sprinkled with Teal Micro Glitter on vellum to create a dimensional banner across the card.
Now, hop on over to the next in line. Don't forget to leave some love for a chance to win, and just 'cuz it's nice!
