Woodware with the Mirror Cracked: Light as a Feather Wall Hanging

The Woodware team are playing along with "The Mirror Cracked" team and blog, and have been challenged to create a wall hanging. Here's one of my favorites that combines a bit of Stampendous, a bit of Dreamweaver, and plenty of Woodware goodies.

Using the Woodware Canvas pad sheets cut in half, I added washes of various spray inks over a paste-embossed in Translucent background of the Dreamweaver Gradual Dot stencil design, and a palette knife smeared bit of Matte Black Paste. The Dreamweaver Feather design was also paste-embossed in Copper over the top, and sprinkled heavily with Stampendous Aged Black and Aged Copper Embossing Enamels from the Fran•tagé collection. Extra sprinkles were added randomly over the canvas and heated from behind to melt. A section of Mark Richards linen squares was stamped in brown ink using the Life is Art sentiment, distressed with ink, and frayed around the edges before adhering. A wood dowel from Woodware was painted black, and with bits of WW ribbon tape, attached at the top of the hanging. Extra tape bits were added to canvas as well.
