Stampenedous goes Authentique!
Those of you who know me, know that I've worked for Stampendous on and off for many years. I was missing playing with my design team pals, and all of the wonderful stamps, and yummy accessories that Stampendous is known for. So...they decided to let me play for a few months again. Yippee!
My first post with them also features some beautiful papers from Authentique! These gorgeous patterned papers for scrapbooking and crafting are just perfect for our October selection of Spring stamp images. But it turns out they’re great for so many of Stampendous' images! We’ll be showcasing the papers Authentique sent us in our October catalog and in a big Blog Hop in October. But we thought we’d give you a sneak peek of this terrific paper, and a chance to win some beautiful sheets of it plus a $20 Stampendous.com reward card this week! (Note: We’re just giving one prize this week.) So, if you haven't been there already, head over to the Stampendous Impressions blog each day this week, and leave comments there as well as those on the link lists each day for a chance to win!
My multi-layered card (hey, when you have great papers and elements, you have to have layers!), features Authentiques' Harmony line of double-sided patterned papers, specifically "Spirit", "Song", and "Abundance". I used some of my favorite parts, and coordinated them with the Stampendous Blossom Beauty Jumbo stamp and die. Using the subtle red pattern on one side of the papers, I stamped the flower three times, and die cut each nested size. I shaded these with my Copic markers before layering them with foam tape. My jumbo flower was adhered on top of all the layers on my card. I added a small horizontal strip with a tiny sentiment, and a vertical strip stamped with the Cling Songbird and Rose Hips. EVERYTHING received a liberal dosage of Frant•agé Embossing Enamels and Color Fragments. Wow! Was that fun!!! Of course, I'll be cleaning my workspace for days...or months! Or, I'll just wait until I've finished my play-dates with Stampendous again! Thanks, Laura, Stampendous, and Authentique!
