STMC29-Spider Stalking

Our challenge this week for the Stampendous Saturday Sketch Challenge, was to stamp on printed papers. Our own Jenn Dove came up with this great notion, and her version is so, so, so cute...you have to go check it out on her blog, Just4FunCrafts! Since we are in the home stretch toward Halloween, I thought I'd do one more spooky card, especially since Stampendous has perfected the art of creepy-cute. I used the "Cling Spider Web Set", which I stamped and embossed across two printed papers. I love the bits of sparkle peeking through the web from the design on the purple paper. I almost feel bad that I covered so much of this darling Cosmo Cricket paper which I got from our own Cyndi Bundy's "Scrappy Chick Boutique". The sentiment on the card begged for several creepy-crawlies hanging from the rafters, and I stamped another which I popped up with foam adhesive tape. For extra texture and color, I ruffled the Creative Impressions ribbon across the card on Terrifically Tacky Tape. A flourish of black holographic Dot Sparklers finished it off. By now you should know the drill, but just in case...play along with us and post your creation to any online site with the link attached to your comment on the Stampendous Impressions blog. For more amazing inspiration, visit the rest of the team blogs as listed to the right. Happy haunting!
