Woodware: Create Your Own Embellies!

This week the Woodware girls are all about creating their own embellishments, and there have been some wonderful ones on the NEW Woodware Blog.

My version features the Stampendous Mother Hen stamped in black, and colored with markers, and matted in blue. The card base is bright green, with a panel of Core'dinations Chalk Core in blue, machine embossed using the Dreamweaver Corner Flowers, and sanded to reveal the design. After this panel was adhered to the card, a square of polka dot paper was stamped with a sentiment from the Perfectly Clear Friendly Phrases set, and adhered over the Chalk Core panel. The focal point square was angled and adhered before adding my fun embellishment.

Using the Stampendous Cling Daisies stamps and dies, two flowers were stamped on yellow cardstock, colored and shaded a bit with markers, and using a VersaMark pen, the yellow portion of the Spring Sparkle Kit was added and heated. The flowers (and a leaf from the polka dot paper) were die cut, the petals lifted and curled slightly, layered and adhered to the upper corner of the card.

Thanks for stopping by!
