Stampendous: Warm Wishes for the Season

What is your favorite season, and what is your favorite holiday from that season? For me, it's a bit of a toss up between Fall and Winter, but I know that I love the Christmas season...the decorations, the music, the food, and every year I hope for a bit of a White Christmas. Living in Southern California, this rarely happens, but I dream about it every year. And in my dreams, the view is much like the one in this framed Stampendous image.

The Christmas Cottage has been stamped with black Memento ink, and colored with Copic markers. Edges have been torn or rolled. A bit of VersaMark ink has been smeared to adhere some Fran•tagĂ© Essentials before heating and melding with a heat tool.

I found this great frame at my local TJ Maxx, which already had this faint pattern printed on it. I did add some Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Enamel, and a stamped and embossed sentiment create with the Perfectly Clear Alphabet.

I used bits of ric rac and woven ribbon from May Arts, printed buttons, twine, and a backing of paint-swiped patterned paper to complete my warm and cozy cottage in the country vision.

What are your visions for this season? Stamp and share them with the Stampendous team! If you haven't yet, be sure to visit the Stampendous Impressions blog for more seasonal fun!
