Dreamweaver: Smeared and Smudged 31 days of Halloween-Day Eight

The Dream Team are dipping their fingers into all things spooky, creepy, and scary, as we play along with the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween. The team will be taking turns to fill the quota of 31 days on the Dream It Up! blog, and posting on their own blogs as well. Be sure to leave them lots of love as this is truly a challenge for many of them! Here is my post for today:

This card got a bit of inspiration from New Orleans, hence the black and lacy umbrella with pompoms and the fleur de lis background. I used the Dreamweaver Umbrella stencil, and paste-embossed it in Matte Black. When dry, I ink-stenciled the Lace Doily stencil with white ink over the top. The background is Core'dinations cardstock, machine-embossed with the Dreamweaver Fleur de Lis, sanded, and distressed. Of course, one of the focal points has to be the Stampendous Skull Roses, stamped and embossed in Shabby Pink embossing powder twice, and layered. Extra roses were created, cut out and adhered as well. The Fright Night sentiment stamped in black was from the Stampendous Tricky Words clear set.

The Smeared and Smudged site is offering prizes each day of the month by a long list of sponsors...Dreamweaver being one of them, but we are also offering one stencil to one lucky commenter on the Dream It Up! blog each day of the month! So, leave your comment below before heading over the Smeared and Smudged blog to view all of the other creepiness!
